Multi-Parameter Immersion Head

Laboratory Water Testing Meters

GXZ-3tk

ELMETRON / Poland

The GXZ-3tk head enables measurements of pH, redox, conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen and temperature. It uses replaceable electrodes and sensors (except the temperature sensor permanently connected). In the head it is possible to mount 3 chosen electrodes or sensors. The head is offered for field measurements for example in lakes, ponds, rivers, wells, sea etc..

It cooperates with portable multifunction meters: CX-401, CX-461, CX-601, CX-705 or 2 function meters of series 411, 401 and 461.

As standard the multi-parameter head is equipped with:
EPP-1B pH electrode, gel filled, non-refillable ECF-1 conductivity cell, COG-1B galvanic oxygen sensor, and stainless steel temperature probe with Pt-1000B sensor. Different types of electrodes and sensors may be mounted depending on the customer’s needs. GXZ-3tk has 3 identical connectors for mounting 3 out of 4 available types of electrodes / sensors. The connectors are are marked with different colour dots responding to different types of electrodes/sensors. The head is equipped with a 5 m cable equipped with standard BNC-50 plugs, what enables connecting it to the most typically used inputs in different meters. The head may be also equipped with 1 multifunction connector for adequately prepared CX-401 or CX- 461 meters. The electrodes, cells and sensors are described in separate catalogue cards. In case of measurements with less than three sensors (electrodes) the unused plugs may be closed with a special cap. The periodical calibration and activation may be made without disconnecting the electrodes, with use of a plexiglas vessel put on the bottom of the head. The vessel may be filled with the standard solution and put on the head. The vessel may also be used for periodical cleaning and activation of the electrodes and sensors.
